Prepare for Your Brain Harmony Consultation
Carol Garner-H:
Hi. My name is Carol Garner-Houston. I'm the cofounder and chief clinical officer for Brain Harmony as well as an occupational therapist with 22 years of experience.
Lara Garner S.:
Hello. My name is Lara Garner Shane, and I'm a co-founder and chief executive officer of Brain Harmony, and I bring 30 years of experience in healthcare administration and resource acquisition.
Lara Garner S.:
Welcome to Brain Harmony. We are thrilled that you've signed up for a consultation. We look forward to learning more about you and your family.
Carol Garner-H:
At Brain Harmony we provide the most powerful and proven therapy to help children and adults with learning and performance difficulties.
Lara Garner S.:
We've created this video to help you get the most out of your consultation, and there's two things we'd like you to remember.
Lara Garner S.:
First, have you completed the measure of foundational abilities? This is an online self-reporting screen that you can access on our website. If you have not done that yet, please click the link and complete this screen prior to your call.
Lara Garner S.:
And secondly, the number one question we get is: should you include your family member on the call? And really that's a question that only you can answer. If you feel that you'll be more available to speak freely without the family member on the call, then we'd recommend you take the call yourself.
Carol Garner-H:
During your consultation. We'll review your MFA and obtain a good baseline of your child or family member's functional abilities.
Carol Garner-H:
We will define a plan of care for you. We will review the modalities and the costs associated with them. We will also review the outcomes that you can expect during your listening program.
Carol Garner-H:
At Brain Harmony we are seeing amazing outcomes. These programs are changing everything in the rehabilitation process. Family members are gaining years' worth of skills in a several-months timeframe, and we're excited to bring it to you in your home.
