5 Steps to Brain Harmony

Carol:
The science behind Brain Harmony is based upon 23 years of experience as an occupational therapist in neurological reorganization for children and adults. We have five basic components to neurological organization. The first is we calm the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is responsible for the fight-or-flight response, that we all know very well and that many of us are stuck in, and also the parasympathetic response, which is rest and digestion. So in that first few days of experiencing our protocols, we will be calming that system. Some friends can feel that sensation of neurological calmness within the first few minutes of doing some of our protocols. For some, that full five-day protocol is really what begins to settle the waters for them.

Carol:
Once we're able to do that, we move into step two. Step two is the full brain input and full brain stimulation. We can build the highway paths of efficiency between all parts of the brain. We do not have to just cope with the organization or dysfunction that we are in with compensatory strategies, or medications, or lengthy therapy that can be helpful but takes a very long time. We can accelerate and integrate all kinds of skills within a very short time period.

Carol:
Once we give that full brain input, we can move into level three. Level three is where we do an assessment of the essential skills of the neurological system. We will be able to assess your reflex patterns, ocular motor control, the state of your vestibular system, your grasping pattern, and any other atypical postural movements. It will give us a snapshot and help us know exactly how to customize your program and protocols.

Carol:
This will allow for us then to move into step four, which is creating a customized protocol delivered by certified occupational therapist and occupational therapy assistants in all 50 states. This customized program is what is going to accelerate your development and your neurological organization, which will then allow for you to get to step five, which is achieving brain harmony.

Carol:
Please reference our testimonial sections because these are not just stories of families making small gains. Instead, they are stories of transformation that comes through working with our program in the comfort of your own home.
