ADLs
Being independent with your personal Activities of Daily living (ADLs) is a universal priority, regardless of age or condition. Parents want their children to be able to master self-care at an age appropriate level, and when it isn't not developing like it is expected, it’s a sign that neurological dysfunction needs to be addressed.
Having an intrinsic motivation, ability to plan, execute and follow through on a consistent basis, and a functional level of performance comes from the brain and nervous system. When one can't perform, then more stress is added to the home and individual, along with psychological strain. Loss of independence with ADLs is also a feared state for adults. These skills can be built in the brain and nervous system if the connections in the brain are not there, are inefficient, or no longer exist, due to dead brain matters from a stroke or traumatic brain injury.

Testimonials and Success Story Videos
ADLs, Apraxia, Legally Blind, Sensory Processing, and Hypotonic
At 4 months old Sam got Hemiparesis which delayed all of his motor functions. At 10 he had encephalitis which wiped out his speech. He tried many different therapies with less than successful results. When he started with Brain Harmony, his speech, motor functions, and anxiety levels improved almost immediately. The best part was that after all of the bad experiences from the many other therapies he tried, Brain Harmony was the first therapy that Sam actually enjoyed.
“It’s a win win for everyone and it’s so profound when you get to see how something that seems so simple, after all the things I’ve done with Sam, everything under the sun, when you see something like this that is so beautiful and so simple and works at the root of the problem, it’s so gratifying that you can be giving your child something that makes them feel good.”
